A man stabbed his ex-wife and her new partner, whose car he took and set on fire on Tuesday morning in Budapest.

The man stabbed his ex-wife and her new partner in Arany János street, behind a department store around 7:30 in the morning. The perpetrator fled with the stabbed man’s car, but set it on fire nearby and left it behind. The stabbed couple went to the nearby ambulance station to ask for help, from where they were taken to hospital. According to the available data, both of them were seriously injured in the attack.

The attacker voluntarily surrendered to the XVI. District Police Station. BRFK launched an investigation into life-threatening bodily harm and other crimes.
