In Pestszentlőrinc, a car drove from the embankment next to the Ráday Gedeon street overpass onto the railway tracks and then collided with a freight train late Sunday evening.
According to MTI’s information from the scene, the driver of the car was rescued from the vehicle by the arriving police even before the collision. The driver suffered minor injuries.
The National Directorate General of Disaster Management informed MTI that the freight train pushed the vehicle for several hundred meters and then crushed it.
