There was a fatal accident on the side of Hungária Blvd. leading to Thököly road, at the intersection of Pálma street, the Budapest Police Headquarters reported on police.hu on Friday.
Two cars collided on Hungária Blvd. After the accident, one of the cars crashed into a pole and one person died.
Congestion is expected on the affected road section, so police are asking drivers to choose another route.
