On Saturday, from six o’clock until midnight, those who buy their tickets for the Night of the Chair-Lifts event in Zugliget can use them in advance.
Because of the high number of visitors in the summer, the event called Night of the Chair-Lifts will be repeated on Saturday, for which tickets can be purchased in advance for HUF 3,000 at the BKV Deák Ferenc square museum, the BKK told MTI.
On the day of the event, only the remaining advance tickets will be available for purchase at the venue.
You can get to Libegő by public transport, bus 291 departing from Nyugati railway station according to the schedule, or retro bus R158, which picks up passengers at Széll Kálmán square during the program.
The Libegő in Budapest was handed over on August 20th, 1970. The passenger cable car, which is also popular among tourists, reaches the János Hill in 15 minutes. The cable railway, spanning a distance of 1,040 meters and a height difference of 262 meters, was named Libegő in a publicly announced naming competition.
