The number of MOL Bubi bike trips exceeded three million in mid-August, the customer who started the three millionth trip was greeted with an annual MOL Bubi pass, the Budapest Transport Center (BKK) told MTI on Tuesday.
According to BKK’s announcement, there were hardly any days in June and July when the bicycles of the public bicycle service were used less than 10,000 times. Many times more than 13,000 people rode MOL Bubi bicycles, and there were days when the number of trips exceeded 14,000, they wrote. Currently, bicycles can be picked up and dropped off at 173 collection stations in Budapest.
