From today, metro 3 is running again on the southern section, between Kőbánya-Kispest and Kálvin square.
According to the previous information of the Budapest Transport Center (BKK), on Monday and Tuesday, the trains run all day between Kőbánya-Kispest and Kálvin square, but they do not stop at Nagyvárad square. The M3 replacement bus runs between Kálvin square and Újpest center, Nagyvárad square can be reached with the M30 station replacement bus and alternative routes.
From Wednesday, during the day on weekdays, the metro will again run on two sections, between Kőbánya-Kispest and Kálvin square, as well as Göncz Árpád city center and Újpest center, but it will not stop at Nagyvárad square. You can travel between Kálvin square and Göncz Árpád city center with the M3 replacement bus, and the M3A replacement bus also runs between Nyugati railway station and Göncz Árpád city center. The area around Nagyvárad square can be reached during the day on weekdays by the M30 station replacement bus from Népliget, and by trams 2M and 24 from the city center and the Keleti railway station, and by foot or MOL Bubi from the Semmelweis Clinics.
The metro runs between Göncz Árpád city center and Újpest center on weekday evenings and weekends, and you can only travel between Kőbánya-Kispest and Göncz Árpád city center with the M3 replacement bus. You can find information about the transport of the metro line 3 at bkk.hu/hogyanjarametro.
