More Than Three Thousand People Participated in the Budapest Running Event

More than 3,000 people from the country’s 400 settlements took part in the K&H move! running night in Budapest.

 

According to the information provided by the organizer Budapest Sportiroda (BSI), the start and finish line of the running event was on the Heroes Square. Most of the people – more than a thousand – completed the half-marathon, and they could run the distance in a pleasant and breezy weather. The route led through, among others, Andrássy street, Vajdahunyad Castle, Széchenyi Spa and Műcsarnok.

More than five hundred ran five kilometers, while six hundred – making up 250 teams – chose the pairs or trio events for ten kilometers or half marathons.

Donát Gyenes won with 1:14:15 in the men’s twenty-one kilometer race, while Júlia Tüttő was the best in the women’s race with 1:26:17.

The event was also part of the Run for the Company series, around 450 people ran representing their workplace.
