The incident took place in a grammar school in Újpest on Wednesday afternoon (8th December).
A 17-year-old boy collapsed in the school gym without any prior complaints, the National Ambulance Service wrote on its Facebook page. The gym teacher examined the student, who was still breathing at the time. The rescue unit was already on its way to the scene when the boy’s breathing suddenly collapsed. Following the instructions of the rescue director, the teacher immediately began resuscitation.
The ambulance arrived on the scene within minutes and continued reviving the student. Thanks to the resuscitation that began in time, the boy was able to be transported to the hospital in a stable condition.
