27th Milken Global Conference Concludes in Los Angeles

The 27th Milken Global Conference wrapped up in Los Angeles, featuring a lineup of influential figures from various fields. 

The conference, held from May 5th to May 8th, 2024, focused on the theme “Shaping a Shared Future,” addressing pressing global issues and exploring innovative solutions.

Notable speakers included David Beckham and Elon Musk, who opened the conference, while former U.S. President Bill Clinton delivered the closing remarks. Discussions covered a wide range of topics, from technology and economics to geopolitics and social issues.

American Actress of Hungarian descent, Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead) shared insights into her work supporting refugees, joined by former Ambassador of Venezuela to USA Carlos Vecchio and UNICEF’s Christina Shapiro. Other speakers included Her Excellency Toyin Saraki, former First Lady of Nigeria and founder president of Wellbeing Africa, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, Javier Milei, President of Argentina, Xavier Bettel  24th Prime Minister of Luxembourg, His Excellency Iván Duque Márquez

33rd President, Republic of Colombia, Michael Froman President, Council on Foreign Relations, Theresa May 54th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Admiral James Stavridis, (Ret.) 16th Supreme Allied Commander of NATO,  actress Kerry Washington, singer-songwriter Usher Raymond IV, Kevin McCarthy, the 55th White House Press Secretary, legendary athlete Magic Johnson, NBA star Chris Paul.

The conference aimed to foster dialogue and collaboration among global leaders to address the world’s most urgent challenges. With over 4,000 participants and 1,000 speakers, it served as a platform for innovative ideas and meaningful discussions on shaping a better future for all.
