Hygienic paper maker Vajda-Papír on Tuesday inaugurated a 16 billion forint (EUR 39.8m) plant in Dunaföldvár, in central Hungary.
The investment, which helped preserve 600 jobs and created 50, was supported by a 5.5 billion forint government grant, Finance Minister Mihály Varga said at the ceremony. Vajda-Papír’s output accounts for 55% of Hungary’s total production of hygienic paper and almost three-quarters of its exports of such products.
