Output of Hungary’s construction sector plunged by an annual 16.2% in October, after declining by 14.7% in the previous month, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said.
Output of the buildings segment fell by 5.3% and civil engineering output dropped by 26.5%. In a month-on-month comparison, output rose a seasonally and working day-adjusted 1.3%. In absolute terms, construction sector output came to 389.4 billion forints in October.
